Intersection Theory in Action, June 28 - July 03, 2027
We are delighted to announce the summer school and workshop "Intersection Theory in Action", taking place at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in Leipzig from June 28 to July 3, 2027. In this 4-day summer school we will learn about Chow rings of toric varieties and Grassmannians, and about the Giambelli-Thom-Porteous formula. Theory and practice are bridged by computations, both symbolic and numerical. The school is followed by a 2-day workshop on recent advances at the interface of applied algebra and intersection theory.
