The course offers a gentle introduction, requiring only a basic familiarity with the terms in its title. Clément Dupont will explore the rich structures found in the cohomology groups of algebraic varieties and demonstrate their application in studying integrals.
Depending on the audience's interests, the following topics (and potentially more) will be covered:
- Periods;
- Mixed Hodge theory;
- Positive geometries and canonical forms;
- Single-valued integration;
- Algebraic Mellin transforms and twisted cohomology;
- Regularization of divergent integrals;
- Motives, the motivic coaction, and symbols
