Farmelo will explore the life and legacy of Paul Dirac, one of the architects of quantum mechanics and quantum field theory. Dirac’s philosophical approach, placing mathematical beauty at the heart of fundamental physics, has influenced generations of theorists and remains central to modern scientific thinking.

Graham Farmelo is a prize-winning author and historian of physics. His books include The Strangest Man, Churchill's Bomb, and The Universe Speaks in Numbers. He is a Fellow at Churchill College, Cambridge, and Affiliate Professor at Northeastern University, Boston.
