Topics in Theoretical Cosmology: Gravitational waves

We are pleased to announce the next lecture block in our interdisciplinary seminar series “Topics in Theoretical Cosmology,” co-organized by Eiichiro Komatsu (MPI for Astrophysics) and Johannes Henn (Max Planck Institute for Physics).

The upcoming lectures will be given by Azadeh Maleknejad on “Gravitational Waves: Theory, Cosmology, and Observation.”

Schedule:

  • Thursday, July 3 – MPP Auditorium
  • Thursday, July 10 – MPP Auditorium
  • Tuesday, July 15 – MPP Auditorium
  • Thursday, July 17 – MPA Auditorium

All lectures take place from 13:00 to 15:00.

About the Lecturer:

Dr. Azadeh Maleknejad is a theoretical physicist with a research focus on theoretical cosmology and particle physics. Her work aims to uncover the particle physics of the early universe, including the origins of the matter–antimatter asymmetry and the nature of dark matter. She is particularly interested in the quantum field theory aspects of cosmological backgrounds.

This series is part of the scientific activities within the UNIVERSE+ Synergy Project, though it is not financially supported by the grant.
