The series introduces research areas inspired by the latest developments in cosmological observations and theoretical physics. Sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, either at the New Lecture Hall (MPA) or the Seminar Room Alps (Auditorium, MPP), both located at the Garching Forschungscampus.
The program includes three lecture blocks:
- Giovanni Cabass (Institut Ruđer Bošković, Zagreb):
Observations in Cosmology
- Ivo Sachs (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität):
Quantum Field Theory in Curved Space
- Daniel Baumann (University of Amsterdam / National Taiwan University):
Cosmological Correlators
The seminar is primarily aimed at advanced Master’s students, but all interested participants are welcome.
Students seeking credit may give a presentation on a reading project under the guidance of one of the lecturers (Daniel Baumann, Giovanni Cabass, Johannes Henn, Eiichiro Komatsu, or Ivo Sachs). For inquiries, please contact Prof. Johannes Henn at henn@mpp.mpg.de.
This seminar series is part of the scientific focus of the UNIVERSE+ project but is not financially supported by the grant.
