The opening day featured a welcome session and introductions among participants. On Tuesday, a “walk and talk” along the river provided an informal opportunity to exchange ideas, learn about each other’s research fields, and discuss expectations for UNIVERSE+.
As the week progressed, project groups were formed, uniting experts from diverse disciplines to collaborate on the ambitious goals of the UNIVERSE+ project. On Wednesday evening, participants joined a guided hike to Löwenburg Castle, followed by an “Ask Me Anything” session with Nima Arkani-Hamed.
While the scientific program was underway, the management team held parallel meetings focused on public relations, international collaboration, and project implementation.
The kick-off event was a great success, offering a platform for stimulating discussions, interdisciplinary exchange, and strategic planning for the future of UNIVERSE+.
