Positive Geometry Beyond Physics Workshop
From October 21 - 23, 2026 the workshop "Positive Geometry Beyond Physics" took place at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences in Leipzig.
Positive Geometry is an emerging field of mathematics inspired by theoretical particle physics and cosmology. How does it connect to other mathematical topics, like semidefinite programming, spectrahedra, and algebraic statistics?
A three-day workshop brought together researchers from the Universe+ project and related fields to explore these connections.
Through introductory lectures, research talks, and lively discussions, participants shared ideas and techniques, strengthened existing partnerships, and identified promising avenues for future research.
