The program began with lectures by Claudia Fevola (CUNEF Universidad) and the four UNIVERSE+ principal investigators: Nima Arkani-Hamed, Daniel Baumann, Johannes Henn, and Bernd Sturmfels. These sessions introduced key concepts and recent developments at the intersection of particle physics, cosmology, and mathematics, setting the stage for the rest of the program.
The UNIVERSE+ School brings together master's and Ph.D. students from a wide range of international institutions, providing them with an opportunity to engage with leading experts in the field in an intensive, collaborative environment.
During the second week, the program will continue with lectures by Carolina Figueiredo (Princeton University), Clément Dupont (University of Montpellier), and Guilherme Pimentel (Scuola Normale Superiore). These lectures will further expand on the topics introduced during the first week.
